KYC identity verification for onboarding and hiring

The problem

A client in Uganda was reviewing identity documents by hand: looking at each ID, checking it, and approving people one by one. It was slow, hard to keep consistent and impossible to scale.

Separately, a client in the UK needed the same capability inside his own system: verifying the identity of people before they were hired.

The idea

Two clients in two countries with the same problem pointed to a reusable product: a KYC (know your customer) system that any platform can use to verify people.

• Users submit their identity documents through a guided flow
• Reviewers get a dashboard queue to check, approve or reject submissions
• A clear record of who was verified, when and by whom
• Designed to plug into other systems, such as a hiring platform
